Creating a fundraiser on Facebook or Instagram is one way you can organize your Village around the Carson’s Village mission. Through either platform, you can see the description of Carson’s Village that is automatically added to the fundraising page, but adding a personal message and sharing the post can make all the difference.
See the tabs below for instructions on creating a Facebook or Instagram fundraiser
On your computer, login to Facebook.
On the left, click Fundraisers.
Tip: If you don’t see Fundraisers on the left, then click See more.
On the left, click Raise money.
Click Nonprofit.
You can either:
Scroll to find the nonprofit you want to raise money for
Type into the search bar to find the nonprofit you want to raise money for (“Carson’s Village”)
Select the nonprofit.
On the left, enter:
The goal amount of money you want to raise
The currency you want the funds to be in
Click Create.
On your iPhone or iPad, open the Facebook app.
Tap in the bottom right of Facebook.
Tap Fundraisers.
Tap Create fundraiser.
You can either:
Scroll to find the nonprofit you want to raise money for
Type into the search bar to find the nonprofit you want to raise money for (“Carson’s Village)
Tap on the nonprofit.
Enter:
The goal amount of money you want to raise
The currency you want the funds to be in
Tap Create at the bottom.
You can create a fundraiser for a nonprofit organization from an Instagram post. The fundraiser will be visible in the post and you can find a link to the fundraiser in your bio. The fundraiser will be active for 30 days. You can extend the fundraiser duration or end it at any time.
