Description Jason Dyke founded Carson’s Village after the heartbreaking loss of his 11-year-old son, Carson, to suicide in 2017. Faced with overwhelming decisions and no guidance, Jason realized that many families lack the support needed after losing a loved one. Recognizing a gap in bereavement services, he created Carson’s Village to provide families with live Advocates who guide them through funeral arrangements and offer emotional support for up to a year. The nonprofit helps families navigate grief, offering peer and group support, including in workplace settings.
