Meet Our Clinical Consultants

Our Clinical Consultants are professionals who specialize in a wide variety of areas surrounding the grief and bereavement journey.  They help uncover the needs of our families and develop Carson’s Village content and programming to meet those needs.

Eli Mandel, LCSW

Eli is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has experience in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient, outpatient, school-based, and healthcare. He currently serves as a Clinical Program Manager to assist front-line healthcare workers reduce burnout and occupational stress. Eli has experience providing training and consultation on multiple topics to various organizations, and is particularly passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and creating trans-affirming work environments.

Amy L.

Amy L., MSW, LCSW, CGP

Amy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Bereavement Counselor and Certified Grief Informed Professional. She graduated from one of the top health science schools in the country, UMass, and went on to earn a Masters degree from Aurora University’s School of Social Work. She also holds memberships in Psi Chi and IASWG. Amy has been trained and employed by three of the highest ranked hospital systems in the nation. She has experience in grief education, counseling, addictions, behavioral health, and medical social work. She is passionate about mental health awareness and helping individuals process their grief in a non-judgmental setting.
