Become a villager!
To engage volunteers to support Carson’s Village by self selecting a role that best fits their passion
Villager – A Villager is the face of Carson’s Village and can have a wide range of involvement. Here are the roles that we would like our Villagers to fill:
Blogging – Agrees to writing one monthly blog. This could be on a variety of topics, but Carson’s Village reserves the right to approve the topic and the content.
Conference – Agrees to sitting at a table at a designated conference once annually on behalf of Carson’s Village. When an event is identified, a request for support will be sent to those who asked to volunteer.
Event Support – Agrees to attending 2 Carson’s Village events annually to support the effort. Bringing friends is encouraged. A calendar of events will be posted as events are scheduled.
First Responders – Agrees to distributing marketing materials to police stations and hospitals with the goal of setting up training for front line first responders.
Fundraising – Agrees to host, coordinate and organize a fundraiser on behalf of Carson’s Village (please get it approved ahead of time). This could be a 5K run, a Facebook event, a bake sale, etc.
Places of Faith – Agrees to distributing marketing materials to religious institutions with the goal of setting up training for key officials.
Schools – Agrees to distributing marketing materials to schools in your district with the goal of setting up training for the administration and counseling staff.
Social Media – Agrees to reposting Carson’s Village posts as appropriate and inviting their friends to follow Carson’s Village social media.
