On the evening of Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Gilley’s Dallas, Carson’s Village will compete against four other social entrepreneurs for up to $225,000 in funding and the title of Social Innovator of the Year. Carson’s Village will be introduced by a short, powerful video and then I will make a 5 minute pitch to convince the judges and the audience that Carson’s Village is most worthy of this award.

But we need your support. Here are three easy ways to help us take home the title:

1. Attend The Pitch — Come out to watch us pitch our organization and be part of the live audience who will vote to decide the winner. Get your tickets here.

2. Watch the live stream – If you can’t come to the event, please tune into the livestream on UnitedWayDallas.org on April 7 at 7:00 p.m. and you’ll get to vote for the winner of the Digital People’s Choice Award, who will receive up to $25,000 raised through the #InnovateUnited campaign.

3. Share on Social — From March 1 to April 7, every social share using #InnovateUnited adds another $5 in prize money, up to an additional $25,000, to be awarded by an on online vote the night of the event. Please watch Carson’s Village on Facebook to see posts about the pitch and share them using this hashtag! We will be sending out reminders starting in March so don’t worry!
