March 2019 Newsletter

Carson’s Village has been selected from a pool of 63 candidates as one of the 15 finalists for the United Way Social Innovation Accelerator! Jason will make a final presentation in April in an attempt to make the 2019 cohort of 10.  We are incredibly thankful for the opportunity to have gotten this far in the competition and are excited to continue in the process.

This month, we dedicated Carson’s Corner, an interactive Lego center, at Coppell Middle School West. We are happy to see that it is already being used and is honoring Carson. We want to especially thank Coppell Middle School West student council and their sponsor, Christina Malone, for their donation of $400. In addition, we want to thank Coppell ISD as well as the principal, Dr. Emily McRoberts Froese; and our board member, Brad Hunt, the superintendent.

There was a great turnout for the Camp Gladiator 5K Fundraiser, and $147 was raised! We are thankful for Camp Gladiator’s continued support for Carson’s Village, and we’re excited to continue partnering with them. Special thanks to Brooke Neff from Camp Gladiator for choosing Carson’s Village as the beneficiary for the 5K.
